From Kyoto kitchens to cobblestone markets—his pastry tales follow the scent of new horizons.
It began in the heart of Kyoto, where Takumi spent countless hours perfecting the art of matcha-infused croissants and delicate plum blossom-shaped mochi. But for him, flour and dough were only the beginning. Takumi’s true passion lay in the stories behind every ingredient, every tradition, and every sunrise.
“I bake to remember where I’ve been and to inspire where I’m going.” — Takumi
What started as a family-run bakery gradually transformed into a nomadic adventure. With a custom bread-making cart and a pack full of recipes, he roamed from the olive groves of Italy to the spice-laden bazaars of Morocco, capturing the essence of each place in every loaf and pastry.
Takumi draws flavor from the world—figs from Sicily, espresso from Venice, saffron from the Rif Mountains. He lets each location speak through his bakes.
